Welcome new and returning families to Stipe. During these uncertain times, I’ve had the opportunity to reflect on the importance of health, family, and education of our children. While the COVID-19 pandemic has caused havoc in our way of life, it has also allowed us the opportunity as a system, to adjust, design, and innovate our practices. While we start the 2020-21 school year on Wednesday, August 12 in a distance-learning model, rest assured that we will continue our high expectations for our students with rigorous and engaging lesson designs.
We appreciate your partnership and flexibility as we determine the most beneficial plan for our students. As we move forward with distance learning, your support to engage your students at home in their education is critical. Please support us this year in ensuring that students are getting adequate amount of sleep, signing in to their online classroom on time, and connecting with the school if you need assistance. We will work together as partners to ensure that our students receive the best education possible.
Linked below is a video presentation of what the beginning of the year will look like. I will give you further information as we move to Phase 2 as allowed by the health guidelines that we follow. For more information or if you have any questions, please attend the Principal meeting on Thursday, August 6 at 1:00pm by following the link below.
